The Role

Based at our modern Head Office in Huddersfield, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our Contract Administration Team made up of Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers of varying experience from university graduates to more seasoned & fully qualified professionals. 

The successful candidate will manage projects from inception to completion and be experienced in the preparation of schedules of work/bill of quantities, NBS specifications, preliminaries, contract conditions, employers’ requirements, cost plans and estimates.  

This varied role will also include: 

  • Procurement Advice – OJEU, leaseholders
  • Analysing Contractors Tenders
  • Managing Interim Valuations
  • Agreeing Final Accounts
  • Advising on contract conditions, loss & expense and delay

Ideal Candidate:

Qualities required for this role will include:

  • BSc Quantity Surveying degree
  • MRICS preferable
  • Minimum of 5 years’ post graduate experience
  • Astute commercial & contractual awareness
  • Sound knowledge of standard forms of contract (JCT, NEC primarily) and consultant appointments
  • Good interpersonal, communication and written articulation skills
  • A team player with the determination to drive projects forward
  • Personal presence and well-developed leadership skills to support and assist more junior members of the team
  • Full UK driving licence
