The Role

Based at our Cardiff office this is a fantastic, career climbing opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join our growing team working with a range of clients on interesting & varied projects. 

The position will enjoy a diverse workload including undertaking property surveys (measured and attribute / condition surveys), preparation of specifications and schedules of work, site inspections to monitor works being undertaken by Contractors under our direction, attending site meetings and assisting our Building Surveyors in carrying out of contract administration duties, cost control, design co-ordination, Party Wall Act matters and CDM Consultant/Principal Designer duties.  

We actively encourage and fully support, both financially & professionally, successful applicants to continue on a structured training programme with us for progression to membership of a recognised professional body.  We are a training partner with both RICS and CIOB and pride ourselves on offering some of the best APC/PDP support available whilst supporting our employees in achieving their career goals and ambitions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • RICS or CIOB accredited degree
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willing to travel to various sites across the South & South Wales  
  • An organised and methodical approach to work
  • Confident & articulate manner
  • A ‘self-starter’ who is motivated & enthusiastic
  • Committed to career development & progressing Professional Institute Membership e.g. RICS, CIOB
